Paramedic – Eagle Butte, SD

Hiring Full Time permanent Paramedics. This position support the mission, values, and clinical needs of Cheyenne River Health Center Ambulance and IHS. Paramedics will provide emergency medical care in the 911 and IFT setting via ambulance staffing support under the direction of Sodak Medical Management and the CRCH Ambulance Director.

Paramedics will also provide support to the Emergency Room as needed and directed. CRHC Ambulance has an approximate call volume of 6-12 calls per 24hr period. Due to the remote / rural nature of the location, EMTs / Paramedics should expect to have significantly extended treatment times, with some IFTs extending as long as 5 hours with the patient. Patient acuity is variable, ranging from BLS to Critical Care. EMTs / Paramedics should be comfortable with a broad range of patient types, needs, care modalities, emergency 911, and critical care medicine.

Housing is providing by company. Travel and and from location is not covered.

Schedule and Salary

Schedule options are negotiable with potential for 1 week on / 1 week off, 2 week on / 2 week off, and 3 week on / 3 week off.

12 hour shifts with guaranteed 40 regular pay and 44 hour overtime pay per week or minimum of $3,850.00. Average salary of a FTE is 100,100 annually ($110,000 for CCT or F-PC).

Full Time paramedics are eligible for Health Plan, Vision and Dental with company covering 50% premiums.

Required:

• NREMT Paramedic
• ACLS, PALS, BLS (AHA)
• ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
• EVOC course or willing to get one upon hire
• Able to pass IHS background check

Preferred:

• CCT or F-PC
• PHTLS, ITLS, or TCCC
